Lately I have been entering the Mount Washington Road Race lottery, whose winners (some might say "losers") get to run the race up Mount Washington, NH. The race has "only one hill", but the hill is 7.6 miles long with an average slope of 12%. I enter the lottery every year now and made it through in 2015, 2016, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
2015, 65-69: 17th out of 34
2016, 70-74: 4th out of 14
2022, 75-79: 3rd out of 8
2023, 75-79: 3rd out of 7
2021, 75-79: 1st place!
